Vendasta has introduced the AI Search Specialist, a new AI-powered employee designed to help local businesses improve their visibility in AI-driven search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Available in open beta starting July 14, the tool is free through September 2026 for all accounts with an active Local SEO Pro subscription.
The AI Search Specialist automatically optimizes business profiles across Google, Bing, Apple Maps, Facebook, and other platforms by filling in missing data such as services, attributes, and descriptions. Users can interact with it via natural language in the Business App to ask about keyword performance, listing health, and search visibility. It also offers three monthly reports: a Brand Visibility Report benchmarking AI search presence against competitors, an AEO Audit evaluating website AI-readiness, and an SEO Audit identifying on-site fixes. Each report type can be run once per month per account.
