Vendasta updated its AI Receptionist conversation summaries to follow a business's preferred operating language rather than defaulting to the language of the physical location. The change addresses cases where location and working language differ — for example, a Spanish-speaking business operating in the United States previously received English summaries based on its U.S. location.

Users can set their preferred language under Business App > Settings > Business Profile > Location. All future summaries for both web chat and voice conversations will then generate in that language. Existing summaries are not retroactively changed. If no preference is set, summaries fall back to the primary language of the business's location.

The feature targets multilingual businesses, franchises, and teams operating across regions with diverse language communities.
