CRMs that integrate with Klaviyo
CRMs and helpdesks with mature Klaviyo integration — sync customer profiles, push order data into segments, fire transactional and lifecycle emails from order events, and run the email-and-SMS layer from one source of truth.
Why Klaviyo-native CRM integration matters
Klaviyo is the dominant email-and-SMS marketing platform for ecommerce — 100,000+ Shopify stores run it as their lifecycle marketing engine. The integration with a CRM or helpdesk closes a loop the standalone Klaviyo install can't: support conversations, refund history, and post-purchase signals from the CRM flow into Klaviyo segments and flows; customer profiles, segments, and engagement state in Klaviyo flow back into the CRM agent view so support teams know who they're talking to and where each customer sits in the lifecycle. The CRMs and helpdesks below ship native Klaviyo integrations that handle bidirectional sync without middleware.
What to prioritize
- Bidirectional profile sync. Klaviyo profiles and CRM records should match on email — updates in either propagate to the other automatically.
- Order and event sync into Klaviyo. Purchase events, refund events, support-conversation events should flow into Klaviyo as triggers for flows.
- Klaviyo segments visible in the CRM. When an agent opens a customer record, they should see Klaviyo segment membership (VIP, churn risk, recent purchaser) without leaving the CRM.
- Conversation events trigger flows. A support resolution should be able to trigger a Klaviyo flow (CSAT survey, post-resolution promotion); a Klaviyo flow event should be loggable in the CRM as a touch.
- Custom event mapping. Beyond standard order events, custom CRM properties (LTV, churn-risk, deal-stage) should map to Klaviyo profile attributes for segmentation.
When Klaviyo integration is the right call
- DTC and Shopify stores running Klaviyo as the marketing layer — the CRM/helpdesk and Klaviyo together cover acquire-engage-retain across the lifecycle.
- Mid-market ecommerce with both a support team (Gorgias, Zendesk, Re:amaze) and a marketing team — bidirectional sync prevents the two teams from giving customers contradictory messages.
- B2C marketing-led businesses outside of pure ecommerce (DTC services, marketplaces) that have standardized on Klaviyo's flows for email and SMS.
When Mailchimp, Customer.io, or HubSpot Marketing might fit better
Klaviyo is the standard for ecommerce; adjacent tools fit other motions. Mailchimp suits non-ecommerce SMB email marketing where Klaviyo's commerce-tuned features aren't needed. Customer.io fits B2B SaaS with event-driven product lifecycle marketing. HubSpot Marketing fits teams that want CRM + marketing in one platform. The CRMs below are listed specifically for Klaviyo; many of them also integrate with the alternatives.
